1. What we collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions, including:
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone, postal address.
- Account & role: business name, ABN/GST status, role (driver, site manager, business owner, admin).
- Vehicle & session: vehicle make/model, charging sessions, kWh delivered, location of charger used, timestamps.
- Payment: tokenised card details (held by our payment processor), payout bank details (BSB, account number) for operators.
- Technical: IP address, device, browser, app version, log data, cookies and analytics events.
- Communications: support tickets, feedback, in-app messages.
2. How we collect it
Directly from You when You sign up, use the platform, contact support or respond to surveys. From Site Operators when they invite You. From third parties such as payment processors, identity-verification providers and analytics services.
3. Why we use it
- Provide, secure and improve the platform and chargers.
- Authenticate users, process payments and payouts, issue receipts.
- Customer support and dispute resolution.
- Fraud prevention, safety, and compliance with law.
- Send service communications and, with consent, marketing You can opt out of at any time.
- Generate de-identified aggregate analytics for product and industry insights.
4. Disclosure
We may share personal information with:
- Site Operators (for sessions at their chargers).
- Service providers including hosting (Supabase / cloud providers), payment processors, email/SMS providers, analytics and customer-support tools, contracted to handle data securely.
- Regulators, law enforcement or courts where required or authorised by law.
- Professional advisers and, in a corporate transaction, prospective purchasers under confidentiality.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Overseas disclosure
We prefer Australian-hosted infrastructure where practicable. Some service providers may store or process data outside Australia (including the United States and the European Union). We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the APPs, including contractual data protection commitments.
6. Security
We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, row-level security on databases, audit logging and least-privilege access. No system is completely secure; You use the platform at Your own risk and must keep credentials safe.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by Australian tax, consumer and electricity-industry record-keeping laws (typically 7 years for transactional records). De-identified data may be retained indefinitely.
Charging session records (including energy delivered, timestamps, pricing and associated invoicing data) are retained for 7 years from the session end date to meet these record-keeping obligations. An automated cleanup job runs daily at 03:15 UTC to permanently delete charging session records that have passed the 7-year retention period.
8. Your rights
- Request access to or correction of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
- Request deletion of your account (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Complain about our handling of your personal information.

9. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage and improve the platform. You can manage cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.
10. Children
The platform is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Notifiable data breaches
If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
